This Weekend: Bike with your mom

by Lauren Russo on May 6, 2011

If you’re reading this, hopefully there’s still time to plan something special with  your mom or other special nurturing woman figure in your life.

Maybe you can bond over your love of art at a local art exhibition, or perhaps impress her with your outdoorsiness and urban know-how at the New England Bike Expo. Or maybe you just want to buy her something cute and somewhat functional at one of the totes adorbz stores that dot our fair City. Whatever your approach, be good to the special women in your life.

Hey Jessica, I seem to have lost your email, so here is an event for next week’s weekend things to do:

RPM Puppet Conspiracy Presents: The Standard Model

Fallacious Physics and Scientific Half-Truths! Alliances and Betrayals! The Latest Protocol on Blinding Laser Weapons!
In a world where Good battles Evil, and where stimulated emissions of photons blur the lines between the two, questions are raised! For instance: Why are there apparent violations of the symmetry between matter and antimatter? What was the nature of the quark-gluon plasma in the early universe? And where are our protagonistʼs eyeglasses?!
Critics exclaim: “The best puppet show about particle accelerators in light years! RPM Puppet Conspiracy is a shining beacon in a universe of Dark Matter!”
Donʼt miss this moving exploration of friendship, intergalactic warfare, and the incredible longevity of packaged baked goods.

also I’ll be opening with some friends as The Future Fact Bureau, we’ll be traveling back from the future to answer yet unsolved scientific questions.

Saturday, May 15
7pm
at the Democracy Center, 45 Mt. Auburn St. Cambridge
$5-10 suggested donation, all ages
