Squares #8: Erica, Dilboy VFW

by Jess Bean on December 13, 2010

The Holiday Handjobs craft fair at the Dilboy VFW on Friday was so  packed with good-looking people that we could hardly get in the door. Folks were selling art drawn by prisoners in one corner; folks were harmonizing to ukulele accompaniment in another corner. Erica stood out from the crowd due to her fabulous illustrations and her wicked turquoise azure cerulean hair.

“For art shows like this, I try to wear my nicer stuff. Otherwise, I never get the chance!

“I’m wearing this scarf because I’m cold. I bought it online from a lady in Scotland.

“I’ve tried to do my own hair before but I’m terrible at it. I got this color done at Liquid Hair Studios in Boston.

“I got this dress from Rue La La for super cheap. I would never pay full price. Like these boots, I found them in a second-hand store and they’re Fluevog.”
